Dublin’s Major Shopping Centres

Shopping is always considered a part of any travel experience. When you feel the urge to shop around Dublin, you need not worry as there are several shopping centers in this county. You will definitely have a shopping day to remember – a day you almost empty out your pocket!
As Dublin’s population and number of visitors increase, there came a demand for more shopping centres. Dublin has an array of shopping centres offering varied treats for their shoppers. Where can tourists head onto if they want to shop around Dublin?

Dublin City Shopping Centres

There are two main shopping centres right at Dublin City centre. They are even close to each other. One is the Jervis Shopping Centre and the other is the St. Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre. The Ilac Shopping Centre is also on Dublin City centre.

The Jervis Shopping centre is considered as the largest in the city centre. It is located on the northside of the River Liffey on Henry and Jervis Street. This shopping centre offers varied shops inside. Top brand shops can also be found at Jervis Shopping Centre. There is also an array of restaurants and fast foods on the third floor of this centre.

The Ilac Shopping Centre is the oldest in the city centre. It can be reached at Henry St. Although it just a single story centre, the Ilac Shopping Centre has several shops inside including Dunnes Stores, Roches Stores, Champion Sports and many more. Another popular shopping centre is the St. Stephens Green Shopping Centre. It offers several brand shops, as well.

Shopping Centres At Dublin Suburbs

Dublin suburbs also offer several shopping centres worth spending money on. These shopping centres serve not only the people from the suburbs but also even those from the city centre and tourists. Some of the shopping centres to head on to include the Square Shopping Centre in Tallaght, Blanchardstown Shopping Centre or what is oftentimes called the “Blanch Centre”, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, Dandrum Town Centre and the Pavilion Swords. The biggest and newest shopping centre is the Dandrum Town Centre. The Blanchardstown Shopping Centre is also one of the biggest.

With all these shopping centres, shopping in Dublin will truly be exciting and satisfying at the same time. Tourists have a lot of choices.
