Within Dublin City Centre, tourists and locals can head on to Cineworld, The Savoy or The Screen. The Cineworld is considered as the largest cinema in the city centre. It is located at Parnell St. with at least 10 cinema screens. If the Cineworld is the largest, the Savoy is the oldest. The Savoy is the oldest cinema in Dublin City and it houses the largest screen in the country. Another old cinema is the Screen.

Other cinemas in Dublin include the Ster Century, IMC Dun Laoghaire, Bray Cineplex, The Stella, UCI Cinemas, and Santry Omniplex. The Ster Century is a new cinema located in the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre. This is a large cinema with 14 screens. Other big cinemas in Dublin are IMC Dun Laoghaire (12 screens) and Santry Omniplex.
